3 EASY STEPS TO A PERFECT FINISH
- 1. Perfect Tools
- To achieve an extra high-gloss finish with no brush marks, it's important to apply this interior/exterior paint with the right kind of brush. Look for one with a label that says "100% China bristle" or "nylon/polyester blend."
- 2. Proper Application
- Oil-based interior/exterior paint traditionally has more odor than latex-based paints. Work in a well-ventilated area. The odor will fade significantly in 12 hours, but it may take about 30 days to disappear completely.
- Please follow the application instructions on the back of the can label for the best possible results. It is normal for the painted surface to remain tacky for a while. It will dry to the touch in 4 to 6 hours at 77° Fahrenheit. You can apply a second coat after allowing the paint to dry overnight. Do not close painted doors for at least 8 hours.
- 3. Simple Cleanup
- Brushes and rollers will clean up easily with mineral spirits or paint thinner. Follow the manufacturer's directions for use.
